OUR BEACHES

One of the great advantages of living in the South Bank of the Tagus or in its surroundings is the huge amount of great beaches that exist in the region.

The south bank covers a territory a little difficult to characterize as a whole, but we can say, briefly, that it encompasses almost the entire peninsula of Setúbal. This means that the beaches of the South Bank are, in the background, the beaches of Costa da Caparica, the beaches of Sesimbra, the beaches of Arrábida and some of the beaches of Setúbal.

Some of these beaches are located in an urban environment (case of Costa da Caparica) while others are in the wild (case of Arrábida). Most of them have the Blue Flag award, synonymous with quality and excellence, and have support and surveillance structures during the summer.

Even though it is sometimes considered a dormitory region of Greater Lisbon, the truth is that the South Bank has known how to reinvent itself and create its own brand, associated with quality of life and beaches of excellence. For this reason, there have been more and more reasons to visit this region and not just stay for the baths in the sea. These are the best beaches on the South Bank.
